Keseimbangan Cairan Dan Status Hidrasi Remaja Di Kawasan Garis Lintang Ekuator 0°, Kota Pontianak, Pada Masa Ekuinoks Vernal, Tahun 2021

Fenomena ekuinoks akan menyebabkan perubahan cuaca di daerah ekuator, seperti terjadinya peningkatan suhu walau tidak selalu signifikan. Hal ini mungkin saja mempengaruhi tingkat keseimbangan dan hidrasi tubuh akibat adanya peningkatan pengeluaran cairan yang dipicu oleh suhu lingkungan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengukur status hidrasi pada remaja di daerah ekuatorial lintang 0°, selama ekuinoks vernal, tahun 2021. Observasi ini menggunakan metode Simple Random Sampling, dengan melibatkan 51 remaja berusia 19 – 21 tahun di Kota Pontianak. Pengukuran keseimbangan cairan dan status hidrasi dilakukan pada bulan Maret, bertepatan dengan periode ekuinoks vernal, tahun 2021. Hasil analisis memperlihatkan bahwa kebutuhan cairan rata-rata individu berdasarkan luas permukaan tubuh (Body Surface Area) adalah 2289±227.3 mL dan asupan cairan rata-rata individu adalah 2210±462.6 mL. Kemudian, sebanyak 54,90% responden memiliki keseimbangan cairan berada pada 80% – 120%, berdasarkan asupan terhadap kebutuhan cairan. Demikian juga pada status hidrasi berdasarkan indikator warna urin, yang didominasi oleh status hidrasi baik (72,55%). Kesimpulan yaitu remaja yang berada di daerah ekuatorial lintang lintang 0°, Kota Pontianak, pada periode ekuinoks vernal, tahun 2021, secara umum berada pada tingkat keseimbangan cairan dan status hidrasi tubuh dalam kategori baik.
