Publication Schedule
Napande: Jurnal Kebidanan, published by Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu, is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal dedicated to the dissemination of high-quality research and scholarly articles in midwifery, maternal and child health, reproductive health, women's health, community health, and related areas of health sciences.
To ensure the regular and timely dissemination of scientific findings, Napande is committed to maintaining a consistent publication schedule, transparent editorial processes, and rigorous peer-review standards.
Publication Frequency and Schedule
Napande publishes two regular issues per year, according to the following schedule:
-
Issue 1: June
-
Issue 2: December
Each issue contains original research articles, review articles, and other scholarly contributions that fall within the journal's scope and have successfully completed the required editorial and peer-review processes.
The journal is committed to maintaining its publication schedule while ensuring that every published manuscript meets the journal's scientific quality, ethical, and editorial requirements.
Article in Press
Napande may publish accepted manuscripts online through an Article in Press system before their assignment to a regular issue, subject to the journal's editorial and publishing policies.
Articles designated as Article in Press have completed the required editorial evaluation and peer-review process and have received formal acceptance for publication. These articles may be made available online before assignment to a specific volume, issue, or page range.
Once the relevant publication details are finalized, the articles will be assigned to the appropriate regular issue in accordance with the journal's publication schedule.
Articles published through the Article in Press system are subject to the same publication ethics, peer-review standards, and editorial requirements as other articles published by Napande.
Manuscripts in Progress
In Progress refers to manuscripts that are undergoing one or more stages of the publication process, including initial editorial screening, peer review, revision, copyediting, proofreading, and production, as applicable.
The status In Progress does not indicate final acceptance or guarantee publication. A manuscript will be published only after completing the required editorial and peer-review procedures and receiving formal acceptance from the Editor-in-Chief or an authorized editor.
Napande strives to process manuscripts efficiently while maintaining the integrity, rigor, and quality of its editorial and peer-review procedures. The time required to complete each stage may vary depending on the nature of the manuscript, reviewer availability, the extent of revisions required, and production considerations.
Publication Regularity and Editorial Policy
Napande is committed to maintaining its scheduled publication frequency and ensuring that all published articles meet the journal's scientific, ethical, and editorial standards.
The Editorial Board continuously evaluates its publication workflow to support timely dissemination of research findings in midwifery and related health sciences. Any changes to the publication schedule or frequency will be communicated transparently through the journal's official website.
The Editorial Board reserves the right to make necessary adjustments to publication arrangements due to editorial, technical, or operational considerations. Such adjustments will be implemented in accordance with the journal's publication policies, while maintaining publication ethics, transparency, consistency, and the quality of its scholarly content.
