Determinants of The Incidence of Multidrugs Resistant Tuberculosis (MDR TB) In North Luwuk District

Indonesia termasuk high burden countries, artinya Indonesia memiliki permasalahan besar menghadapi TB. Penelitian bertujuan mengidentifikasi Karakteristik Penderita dan determinan MDR-TB di wilayah Kecamatan Luwuk Utara. Jenis Penelitian Case control study. Teknik sampel dengan total sampling. Analisis data dengan Odds Ratio untuk mengetahui besar peluang variabel beresiko terhadap kejadian kasus MDR-TB. Odds Ratio dengan 95% confidence interval diperoleh bahwa PMO, Dukungan Keluarga, dan Keteraturan Minum Obat adalah 100% sehingga tidak dilanjutkan untuk melihat besarnya peluang beresiko. Pengetahuan merupakan determinan MDR TB dengan nilai OR >0,1. Analisis variabel akses pelayanan menunjukkan nilai OR>1,75 artinya variabel akses pelayanan Kesehatan pada responden memiliki peluang 1,75 lebih besar menderita MDR TD. Penyuluhan Kesehatan diperoleh nilai OR>11 jadi 11,5 lebih berpeluang memiliki risiko MDR-TB. Hasil analisis variabel petugas Kesehatan menunjukkan nilai OR>5,8. Artinya peluang berisiko variabel petugas Kesehatan adalah 5,8 lebih besar menderita MDR-TB. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah Karakteristik MDR TB tertinggi pada usia 17-25 tahun dan 46-55 tahun, jenis kelamin laki-laki, Pendidikan SLTA dan pekerjaan wiraswasta. Hasil analisis Odds Ratio menunjukkan bahwa yang bermakna adalah variabel pengetahuan dimana OR>0,1.
