Copyright

Authors who publish with Madago Nursing Journal (MNJ) retain copyright ownership of their work. Copyright is not transferred to the journal or its publisher, Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu.

Published articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This license permits users to copy, share, redistribute, adapt, and build upon the work in any medium or format, including for commercial purposes, subject to the applicable license terms.

Users must provide appropriate credit to the original authors, acknowledge the original publication in Madago Nursing Journal, provide a link to the license, and indicate whether changes have been made. Attribution must not imply that the authors or the journal endorse the reuse. Adaptations must be distributed under the same license or a Creative Commons–designated compatible license. Users may not impose additional legal or technological restrictions that prevent others from exercising the rights granted by the license.

Authors grant Madago Nursing Journal a non-exclusive right of first publication and permission to publish, reproduce, distribute, and preserve the article under the stated license. This permission does not transfer copyright ownership to the journal or its publisher.

Authors may share and archive the published version of record immediately after publication, without an embargo, including through institutional repositories, personal websites, and academic platforms. The original publication in Madago Nursing Journal must be acknowledged, and the article’s DOI or permanent publication URL should be included whenever available.

Third-party materials, including figures, tables, photographs, and other copyrighted content, must be appropriately attributed and used with permission when required. Authors must ensure that any permissions obtained are consistent with the intended publication and reuse of those materials. Materials excluded from the article’s Creative Commons license must be clearly identified in an accompanying credit line.

By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that they hold the necessary rights or permissions to authorize publication and that the manuscript does not infringe the copyright or other rights of third parties. Any third-party restrictions must be disclosed to the editorial office before publication.

Important: Authors retain copyright and grant Madago Nursing Journal a non-exclusive right of first publication. Published articles are available under CC BY-SA 4.0, subject to the license terms and any clearly identified exceptions for third-party materials.
