Open Access Statement

Madago Nursing Journal (MNJ) is committed to disseminating nursing knowledge through an open access publishing model. Free access to scholarly research supports the advancement of nursing science, strengthens evidence-based practice, encourages collaboration, and enables nurses, researchers, educators, students, policymakers, and the public to benefit from published findings.

MNJ provides immediate open access to its published articles, based on the principle that making research freely available supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Readers may access, read, and download articles without subscription fees or access charges.

Published articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This license permits sharing and adaptation, including for commercial purposes, provided that appropriate attribution is given, changes are indicated, and adaptations are distributed under the same or a compatible license, subject to the applicable terms.

Open access does not compromise the journal’s editorial standards. All manuscripts remain subject to the applicable editorial assessment, peer-review procedures, and publication ethics requirements.

Any article processing charges payable by authors are described separately in the journal’s Article Processing Charge policy. Such charges do not restrict readers’ access to published articles or influence editorial decisions.
